Mrs. Bradley's Class: Two great websites to practice reading and math skills: www.starfall.com and www.morestarfall.com.  :)      Parents you can review the short vowel sounds (a-apple, e-Ed, i-itch, o-octopus & u-up), the digraphs (sh, ch, th, wh & _ck) & the glued sounds (-all, -am, -an, -ink, -onk, -unk, -ank, -ing, -ang, -ong, and -ung) at home and practice making short vowel words with the above mentioned sounds by having your child tap the sounds and spell the word. You can also review the vocabulary & spelling words sent home each week. In math practice counting by 2's, 5's & 10's, counting coins (P's, N's & D's), telling time to the hour & half hour, and addition and subtraction number stories. :)
