NEW STUDENT MEET AND GREET
It is very important to us that our new students feel welcomed. We meet and greet our new friends by taking their picture and noting their favorites for our new student wall. We try to have lunch at least two times per year. Having lunch and displaying their pictures is an opportunity for our new students to meet other new students in the same grade.
LUNCH BUNCH
Our lunch bunches are students that meet and have lunch with the counselor for several reasons. Students are either part of a special skills group, have concerns that we are able to address during lunch or the opportunity presents itself when we can just meet and talk with friends. No matter what the reason is, lunch is meant to be an enjoyable time with the counselor at our school!
BUDDY PROGRAM
Our fifth grade students have started to assist/tutor primary students. Tutoring is done during a designated time in the morning or sometimes the students will give up a recess to make sure their buddy is doing OK. It is a pleasure to have such responsible and friendly students that care and share their talents.
CAMP APPLICATIONS and SUMMER PLAYGROUND
Spring quickly approaches and lets us know that summer is just around the corner. So, we like to make sure our students have information about creative learning experiences that are available in the area. Camp applications are available in the guidance office. And summer playground information is sent home with every student.
