Open Records/Right-to-Know Requests

Pennsylvania's Right-to-Know law grants citizens the right to access records and information from government agencies such as school districts. If you wish to access a record of the Pottsgrove School District, please do so by using the link to the Open Record (RtKL) Form below.

After you complete the form, you can submit the form to the district's Open Records Officer (contact information below) in person, by US mail, by fax or by e-mail.  The appropriate fees and charges are outlined in Administrative Regulation 820-AR Fees and Charges.  A link to this regulation can be found below.

After you file a request, the law specifies that the district has five business days from the date the district receives the request to respond to your request.
 
Appeals and Information:  Should the district deny your request, you have the right to appeal the decision to the state office of Open Records. Information with regard to PA Open Records can be found at their website.
